2025 EPISODE PREVIEW

Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Chemistry, welcomes its new students with the "2024 New Academic Curriculum and Certificate Programs." As part of our updated curriculum, our students will take courses in “Social Responsibility and Justice,” “Career Planning,” “Artificial Intelligence,” and “Fundamentals of Computer Technologies,” which covers programming languages such as Python, Mathematica, and Maple. This will enable all departments within our Faculty to establish stronger educational and R&D collaborations through interdisciplinary interaction.

We are beginning to award our students certificates in scientific specialization related to various sectors of chemistry. This way, our students will be able to specialize by selecting their Professional Elective Courses based on their areas of interest.

During the final semester of their senior year, students who wish to do so will have the opportunity to complete internships at major companies with which we have agreements, allowing them to gain firsthand experience in the industry and apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.

Under the Shining Star Program, high-achieving students will have the option to take graduate-level courses while still in their undergraduate program. By completing the required graduate-level courses during their undergraduate studies, they will be able to finish their master’s degree quickly immediately after earning their bachelor’s degree.
